This prescription medication controls ticks (Dermacentor variabilis), controls and treats sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei), controls and treats ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), prevents heartworms disease (Dirofilaria immitis), controls and prevents fleas (Ctenocephalides felis), and prevents and kills hatching flea eggs and adult fleas for 1 month.

As with many drugs, Revolt is associated with certain adverse effects. What special precautions are there?
Revolt should not be used on animals that are underweight, emaciated, or unwell. Keep ignition sources, open flames, sparks, and heat away from flammable materials. Hands should be washed after each usage, and any substance that comes into contact with the skin should be washed off with water and soap as soon as possible. Do not use on broken skin. If your pet's coat is damp, do not apply this product. Revolt should not be massaged into the skin. Keep out of the reach of animals and children.

How can I store Revolt (selamectin) Topical for Dogs?
Keep the temperature below 30° Celsius (86°F). Following application, any empty tubes may be disposed of in regular household garbage.
Overview
1) Take the applicator out of its pouch by folding along the diagonal line, exposing the nick, and tearing back at the nick, or by cutting with scissors. 2) Position the applicator upright. 3) Tap at the narrow portion of the applicator, ensuring that the contents are in the main part of the applicator. 4) Snap or twist the tip. 5) At the base of your pet's neck (in front of his or her shoulder blades), part the hair. The skin should be exposed. 6) Directly place the applicator against the skin. 7) Firmly squeeze 3 to 4 times in a single location until the applicator is empty. 8) On the last squeeze, keep the applicator compressed to prevent the liquid from re-entering the applicator. Take care not to allow the product to contact your own skin. 9) Keep the applicator squeezed and drag it away, lifting up and removing it from the skin. 10) Check to be sure the applicator is completely empty. 11) Discard in your regular household garbage. Minimum recommended dosage rate is 2.7 mg of selamectin for every lb of your pet's body weight.
