How does Enalapril Tablet work?
This medicine works by preventing the creation of the enzyme that triggers the synthesis of blood vessel-tightening solution, which helps to reduce blood pressure. The vessels relax and blood pressure drops as a result of this process. It also improves blood flow and oxygenation in the heart.

What are the side effects of Enalapril Tablet?
Changes in urination (a sign of renal failure), increased thirst (another sign of kidney dysfunction), low blood pressure, diarrhea, vomiting, and inappetence are all possible reactions. If you observe any indications of a severe allergic reaction, stop using this product immediately and seek emergency veterinary care. Hives, a swollen tongue, a swollen face, swollen lips, and difficulty breathing are all symptoms. Notify your veterinarian if your pet develops any of these or other negative effects.
What special precautions are there?
Never feed this product to a nursing animal. ACE inhibitors cannot be utilized if the dog develops an angiotensin II dependence. Some dogs may require angiotensin II for the treatment of GFR. Keep a close eye on the animal's renal function and utilize a once-a-day dosage if the animal is severely azotemic. If a response occurs, a veterinarian may lessen the dosage until the right quantity is found. If a response occurs, discontinue treatment and seek advice from a veterinarian. Electrolytes in the blood, renal function, and arterial blood pressure should all be checked on a regular basis. This medicine may interact negatively with other NSAIDs, diuretics, and potassium supplements if the animal is using them. Never administer this drug to a pregnant animal since it might cause birth abnormalities. Keep out of the reach of children.
