What special precautions are there?
Unless your veterinarian advises otherwise, do not use this medicine on a serious burn or deep puncture wound. Withdraw treatment and visit a veterinarian if swelling, irritation, or redness worsens or persists. This product should not be exposed to fluorescent lights or alkaline compounds. Nitrofurazone is the active chemical in this product. In rats, it causes mammary tumors, while in mice, it causes ovarian cancers. Hypersensitivity to the product may manifest in certain people. When using this product, always use gloves and wash your hands thoroughly after handling.
What to do if overdose?
If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
How can I store Fura-Zone?
Keep away from sun and extreme heat exposure. Keep in a cool and dry location.
Overview
Using a spatula or clean gauze, apply directly onto the lesion. Bandage if desired. Allow at least 24 hours for contact between the preparation and the lesion. Dressings can be worn or replaced multiple times daily,
