What special precautions are there?
Do not use any other sort of substance or liquid to replenish the diffuser container. No other object should be plugged in above the diffuser. Keep out of the reach of children. Only Feliway brand refills should be used in the device. This device should not be placed under any furniture or covered in any manner. Extension cords, voltage converters, and adapters are not recommended. Do not immerse in water. While the item is plugged in, avoid touching it with damp hands or metal objects. Do not attempt to cure extreme aggression with this product, since this may endanger cats and/or humans. Do not plug the device in backwards or sideways. Leakage will occur as a result of this. Every six months, replace the diffuser unit.

Remove the refill cap before using. Attach the refill to the diffuser's bottom once it's been opened. When you're ready, look for an open outlet that isn't blocked or hidden. Check to see if the outlet is a regular 120-volt outlet before plugging it in. The diffuser will span a 500-700 square-foot area. Replace the refill every 60 days, and the plugin after 6 months.
