What are the side effects of Dexamethasone-SP (Sodium Phosphate) Injection 4 mg/ml, 100 ml?
Oral or injected corticosteroids are known to induce early parturition (birth) when given during the last trimester of pregnancy, according to experimental and clinical data. The following effects are also possible when administered during pregnancy: Premature birth Fetal death Difficult birth (dystocia) Pelvic inflammatory disease or uterine wall inflammation (metritis) Accelerated placental retention When given to pregnant rabbits, rodents, and dogs, the following effects have occurred in offspring: Swelling (anasarca) in dogs Seal limb (phocomelia) in dogs Foreleg deformities in dogs Cleft palate
What special precautions are there?
Use antibacterial treatments for 3 days after quitting this medicine when the illness has subsided. Use antibacterial treatments in conjunction with this medicine if the animal has an infection. If the animal has diabetes, osteoporosis, or congestive heart failure, do not use this product. If the animal has chronic nephritis or tuberculosis, use this medicine only in an emergency. This is not a product for viral infection. Keep away from children and animals

Store product between the temperatures of 15°-30°C (59°-86°F) Do not freeze.
Overview

When discontinuing therapy after a long duration, gradually and slowly reduce the everyday dose over the course of many days.
