Helpful Tips:
The outcomes of these tests are easy and straightforward. They do not need a complex interpretation. They function similarly to a human pregnancy test in that a line indicates that the dog is pregnant. The most accurate result can be achieved as early as 20 days after the LH (luteinizing hormone) spike.
Overview
Testing Procedure 1) Tear open the accompanying pouch, then place the test on a flat area until it is finished. Squeeze the pipette that comes with it by the sealed end. Allow a tiny amount of the serum or plasma sample to be drawn up using the pipette. Transfer 2 drops of the sample into test window #1 while keeping the pipette in a vertical position. 2) Remove the bottle cap from the buffer. Instill 2 drops of the buffer into test window #1 while holding the buffer bottle upright. 3) Give the test findings ten minutes to finish. Note whether pink or purple bands are present or absent in window #2 (sample results indicator) and window #3 (control). Interpreting Results: One pink or purple band in test window #2 and one pink or purple band in test window #3 indicates a positive pregnancy result. If the dog is newly pregnant, you may get a poor, weak result. This is still seen as a favorable outcome. If no band is seen in test window #2 and just a single pink or purple band is visible in test window #3, the test result is negative for pregnancy. To confirm negative or positive results, the test can be repeated with a new sample. Validating Results: If a pink or purple band appears in test window #3, the test is declared legitimate. Never directly contact the membrane with the pipette tip, sample drops, buffer drops, or the tip of the buffer bottle. In window #1, it's critical to allow the sample and buffer droplets fall onto the membrane.
