What are the side effects of Vet-Kem Home Spray, 24 oz?
Never spray on a human or pet. This product is harmful when absorbed into the skin. It can cause irritation to the eyes. Do not allow clothing, eye, or skin contact.
What special precautions are there?
Do not use this product in any way that is not allowed on the product label. This is illegal. Keep the product away from children and animals. If the pesticide gets inside your clothing or skin, remove the clothing or wash the skin right away. Be sure to wear clean clothes after handling the product. Wash your hands before using the bathroom, smoking, chewing gum, drinking, or eating. Do not let this product contaminate food. Do not use this product in areas where food is commercially prepared or served, such as restaurants or food processing plants. When handling this product, always wear long-sleeved shirt, long pants, socks, shoes, and gloves. Do not spray it on pets or humans. This product can be harmful if absorbed through the skin. It can also cause eye irritation.

How can I store Vet-Kem Home Spray, 24 oz?
Keep out of reach of children. Shield from extreme temperatures such as freezing or heat. Do not reuse or refill this container.If the product is empty, dispose product as regular refuse. If partially filled, contact your local solid waste agency for guidance or 1-800-CLEANUP for disposal instructions. Do not dispose remaining product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
Overview
Shake thoroughly prior to use. As a surface application to flooring, drapes, and carpeting: Apply 1/4 fluid ounce per 3.6 square feet (approximately 8 pumps). Directly spray onto mattress, taking care not to saturate the mattress. Focus application on folds and seams. Let the mattress thoroughly dry prior to replacing bedding. To treat bed bugs: carefully inspect the area of suspected infestation, noting any actual or potential hiding areas. Pick up or remove clothing and other obstacles that could prevent thorough treatment or inspection. Remove, then sanitize any infested items, clothing, and bedding. Never apply this product to bedding. Thoroughly wash bedding and dry at medium to high heat to kill live bed bugs. Apply this product to hidden areas and anywhere else bed bugs live. Thoroughly apply as a surface, crevice-and-crack, or spot application. Focus on hidden areas, such as behind pictures and mirrors, under beds, on and inside box springs, under furniture and carpets, cove base, behind dressers, and other hiding areas. Apply directly onto the following and any other insects in the environment to kill pests: wasps, sawtoothed grain beetles, red flour beetles, moths, mosquitoes, millipedes, lesser grain borers, indian meal moths, gnats, fruit flies, flies, firebrats, dermestids, darkling beetles, centipedes, confused flour beetles, carpet beetles, sowbugs, pill bugs, crickets, spiders, scorpions, ants, earwigs, silverfish, cockroaches, and ticks. Do not contain foodstuffs or food. Never use in edible product areas of restaurants, food processing plants, or any other area where food is commercially served, stored, processed, or prepared. To treat fleas: use in apartments, attics, garages, and homes. A single bottle is a sufficient amount to treat up to 350 square feet (about 3 rooms measuring 10' X 11.5'). A fine, uniform spray is sufficient to kill fleas. Never wet carpeting or furniture. Cover aquariums and remove birds prior to spraying. For optimal effectiveness, treat all carpet areas. Treat surfaces of upholstered furniture, drapes, rugs, and carpets. Remove any old pet bedding, replacing with fresh, clean bedding following treatment. Re-apply every 2 weeks, as needed. Treated areas should be vacated and not re-entered for a minimum of 1 hour.
