This medication can affect the gastrointestinal system causing decreased appetite, vomiting, and diarrhea. These side effects may be reduced by giving this medication with food. This medication can cause high potassium levels which may result in vomiting, muscle weakness, abnormal heart rates and rhythm. If these symptoms persist or you notice anything else unusual, contact your veterinarian
