What special precautions are there?
If the animal is damp, adhering will be impossible. Therefore, never apply to a wet coat. Following hair application, this substance will not wipe away. If your pet's irritation worsens, pursue veterinary advice. If irritation develops, discontinue treatment. Some horses may have local discomfort as a result of sensitivity. This substance is very dangerous if swallowed or absorbed via the skin. Avoid contact with clothes, eyes, and skin. Prevent food contamination. Hands should always be washed thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Keep out of the reach of children.

If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
How can I store Prozap War Paint Insecticidal Paste, 3.4 oz?
Keep the product cool and dry. Only allow the product to reach a maximum temperature of 100°F.
Overview
After the treatment, wait a week before applying again. Place 1 gram under each eye, 2 gram on the withers, and 2 gram around the knee or hock  of each leg throughout therapy. Administer a full application of 12 grams in a single treatment for optimal pest control on pastured horses lasting a week.
