The following side effects can occur with prolonged use: Glaucoma Optic nerve damage Posterior subcapsular cataract formation Field of vision and visual acuity defects Immune suppression (and a higher susceptibility to ocular infections)
What special precautions are there?
Tell your veterinarian about all the medications your pet is currently taking before beginning treatment. In case of a reaction, pursue medical treatment. In case of difficulty breathing, swelling, or itching, withdraw treatment. Do not allow the dropper opening to touch any surface, including the body or eye. Vision can become blurry with product use or contact. Keep out of the reach of children.
What to do if overdose?
If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
How can I store Prednisolone Acetate 1% Ophthalmic Suspension - 15 ml?
Store in a cool dry environment 20-25°C (68-77° F). Do not allow this product to be frozen.
Helpful Tips:
If you accidentally skip a dose, don't worry. Just give the next dose as soon as possible, or skip the missed one altogether and continue with the regular treatment schedule. Do not administer two doses at one time.
