Product Description
Polyglycan-SA replaces synovial fluid, which is frequently lost during surgery. It contains synovial fluid components that are important for maintaining the homeostatic environment of the joints.
Who is Polyglycan SA 2.5 ml for?
Dogs.
Why use Polyglycan SA 2.5 ml?
Polyglycan-SA is a joint treatment formula that restores synovial fluid, which is frequently depleted after surgical operations. It contains natural synovial components, which are important for the joints` homeostatic environment.
How does Polyglycan SA 2.5 ml work?
GAGs (Glycosaminoglycans) are found in every extracellular tissue structure, including synovial fluid and cartilage. Polyglycan`s active components have polyionic and viscoelastic properties that are comparable to those of a dog`s natural joint fluid. When Polyglycan is used as a post-surgery fluid replacement and lavage, it helps to normalize the joints following arthrotomy because it reaches the synovial area.
