Fit the collar around the neck of the pet. Adjust for a comfortable fit. The collar should be worn loosely enough to account for future growth, and loosely enough for the collar to move freely around the neck. A proper fit will slide snugly over the head of the pet when fastened. Allow for 2" to 3" for future adjustment. Trim off any excess. This collar was designed to release a powder during wear, which activates pheromones.
