What are the side effects of Novox Chewable Tablets?
NSAIDs that inhibit cyclooxygenase can produce gastrointestinal or renal damage. These responses might be linked to the suppression of the cyclooxygenase enzyme and a reduction in the generation of prostaglandins, which are produced from arachidonic acid.
What special precautions are there?
This product is tempting to dogs, so prevent inadvertent ingestion by keeping it out of their reach. This and all medications should be kept away from animals and children. Not for use in nursing or pregnant animals. Never administer to a cat. Do not administer this medication to dogs who have previously had an allergic response to carprofen.

How can I store Novox Chewable Tablets?
Store product between the temperatures of 15°-30°C (59°-86°F)
Overview
For maximum efficacy and freshness, administer the remaining half of a tablet within 30 days after the first. Ensure that you have access to clean drinking water at all times, and take this prescription with food. Administer 2 mg per pound of your dog's body weight once a day, or 1 mg per pound twice a day, to dogs 6 weeks of age and up. Use according to your veterinarian's instructions.
