How does Malaseb Shampoo work?
Chlorhexidine gluconate and miconazole nitrate act together to give an efficient therapy for dermatitis-causing microorganisms. They also eliminate scaling and degrease the skin. Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antibacterial agent that works against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. Miconazole nitrate is an antifungal agent that is effective against fungi and yeast.

What are the side effects of Malaseb Shampoo?

What special precautions are there?
This product should never be used near an animal's nose. The pet might inhale pharmaceutical vapors, causing irritation to the respiratory system and lungs, as well as difficulty breathing and throat swelling. How can I store Malaseb Shampoo?
Store at room temperature. Don't freeze.
Shake Well Before Each Use.
1. Wet coat thoroughly with water.
2. Apply and lather shampoo over the entire body, allowing 10 minutes of contact time.
3. Rinse completely with water.
4. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms subside, then weekly, or as directed by veterinarian.
Do not allow animal to lick while bathing to prevent ingestion.
Wash hands after use.
