Iverhart Plus Flavored Chewables treat heartworm disease in dogs using ivermectin and pyrantel. The mixture helps to eradicate the tissue stage of Dirofilaria immitis (heartworm larvae) and provides protection against infection for 30 days. It can also be used to treat and control hookworms (Ancylostoma braziliense, Uncinaria stenocephala, and Ancylostoma caninum) as well as roundworms/ascarids (Toxascaris leonina and Toxocara canis).
