What are the side effects of Hydrocortisone Cream USP 2.5%, 20 g?
Never administer concomitantly with a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Stomach ulcers can result from hydrocortisone use due to stomach lining effects. Muscle weakness, liver damage, behavioral changes, increased appetite, increased thirst, weight gain, and dull hair coat may occur. If your pet has a fungal infection, liver impairment, kidney impairment, or stomach ulcer, do not use hydrocortisone.
What special precautions are there?
Keep this product away from your eyes. Following application, thoroughly wash your hands. Use gloves when applying this product. Keep away from children and animals.
What to do if overdose?
If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
