Overview
Using a stiff brush or a hoof pick and wire, clean every region of the hoof completely. Gloves can be useful since the components in the product make it very sticky. Absorbine Veterinary Liniment or isopropyl alcohol can be used to eliminate any surplus product. Consult your veterinarian or farrier for abscess treatment. Magic Cushion should be applied to the sole of the hoof. Cover with paper or plastic before applying self-adhesive wraps, duct tape, or a hoof boot to the whole hoof and sole. Reapply Reapply every 24 hours until the problem is resolved. For optimal success, especially with barefoot horses, the sole should be covered with paper or plastic before applying self-adhesive wraps, duct tape, or a hoof boot to the whole hoof and sole. Reapply this product every 24 to 48 hours until the problem is resolved. Pack the sole of the hoof to a 1/2" deep with Magic Cushion overnight.
