Product Description
Estrumate (Cloprostenol Sodium) is a luteolysis-inducing intramuscular injectable solution. This medication's luteolytic activity makes it beneficial for managing the cow's estrous cycle, allowing for compliance with your management practices, treatment of particular extended luteal function-related diseases, and pregnancy termination when mismating has happened.
Who is Estrumate (Cloprostenol Sodium) for?
Beef and dairy cattle.
Why use Estrumate (Cloprostenol Sodium)?
Estrumate is a hormone that is used to treat diseases caused by extended luteal function and to regulate the estrous cycle in beef and dairy cattle.
How does Estrumate (Cloprostenol Sodium) work?
Cloprostenol sodium promotes corpus luteum regression, both functionally and morphologically. This impact on the corpus luteum generates estrus in normal cycle, non-pregnant animals within 2 to 5 days of treatment. Induction of luteolysis usually restores cyclicity and heals the disease in animals with pyometra (prolonged luteal function), mummified fetus, or luteal cysts. Pregnant animals may abort depending on the stage of pregnancy.
