Product Description
Estradiol can be administered in horses to produce estrus (heat) or estrus behavior, as well as to cure urine incontinence over time. This hormone has also been used as a mismate therapy in cats and dogs to prevent conception. Estradiol is rarely used for cats and dogs nowadays since there are safer alternatives. Estradiol has been licensed for use in humans but not in animals by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). In rare cases, the FDA permits veterinarians to prescribe and utilize products containing this medicine in different species or for other ailments; nonetheless, this drug is not for use in food-producing animals. You and your veterinarian can talk about why this medication is the best option.
