Inform your pet's veterinarian if you see any indicators of an adverse effect not described here. Mechanical irritation can cause minor hair loss and mild skin responses at the application site. This usually goes away in a week or two,and there's no need to take the collar off. Make sure the collar isn't too tight. If the animal isn't used to wearing a collar, they may experience some irritation. This usually happens within the first few days of using the product.
What special precautions are there?
Sensitivity is a possibility, although it is uncommon. Before using an animal that is nursing, pregnant, breeding, old, or debilitated, see a veterinarian. Keep this product away from your pet's mouth and eyes. Never use on kittens under the age of ten weeks. This item should not be used with a leash. The collar should be replaced after 8 months of use. Keep out of the reach of children.

Overview
Adult fleas will be removed in 2 hours after application, and prevention will begin in 48 hours. This shield can keep you safe for as long as 8 months. This collar is water-resistant and will continue to function after a bath. Collar efficacy may be reduced to 5 months if a cat is washed more than once a month. This collar may cause minor sensitivity in certain animals and people. It's possible that you'll have some hair loss or itching. Remove the collar and give the animal a wash with mild soap if this is the case. Check to see whether the collar is too snug and adjust or remove it if hair loss occurs. Any sensitivity should disappear within a week or two after removal. Directions for Use: 1) Keep the collar in its unopened bag until you are ready to put it on your pet. Keep it out of reach of animals and children. 2) Carefully take the collar out of its bag and wrap it around the animal's neck. Keep it away from the mouth and eyes during this process. 3) Wash your hands well after handling.
