What are the side effects of Drontal Plus?
Pets may develop diarrhea, inappetence, or vomiting, but these are unusual adverse effects. Keep an eye on your pet's responses and contact your veterinarian if you notice any bothersome or unusual effects.
What special precautions are there?
Keep away from animals and children. Not for use in pregnant animals. If your dog is infected with echinococcus granulosus, his or her feces should be handled with utmost caution. After being treated with this medicine for the first time, an infected dog may have eggs in their feces. Dogs should be kept at the clinic during this time so that the feces can be incinerated or autoclaved. If this is not feasible, soak the eggs in a solution of sodium hypochlorite to kill them. The same solution should be used to clean each location the pet came into contact with or was held. Allow enough time for cleaned goods to dry before reusing them.
