This product is typically tolerated well by dogs. However, potential adverse reactions include: Lethargy Depression Elevated Liver Enzymes Vomiting Diarrhea Increased Thirst Because vomiting is the most common side effect, you may choose to give this product with food to reduce the likelihood of such a response.
What special precautions are there?
Exercise great caution in administering this product to animals with urinary retention, reduced gastrointestinal motility, narrow-angle glaucoma, epilepsy, or cardiovascular dysfunction. Not for use in breeding animals. Do not administer to animals taking Anipryl or using a Preventic collar. When administering concomitantly with other drugs, adverse responses could occur. Prior to treatment, tell your veterinarian about all drugs your pet is taking. Keep away from animals and children.
