For puppies (6 months old and up): Lightly spray the product onto a towel, then wrap the kitten in the treated towel. Ensure that the mouth, nose, and eyes remain exposed. Do not allow contact with the genitalia, and do not spray directly on the puppy. Apply some of the spray to your finger to gently apply around the mouth, nose, and eye area. Leave the kitten wrapped for 5-10 minutes. Remove ticks by combing or picking. For optimal results, treat dogs with a product like Advantage Treatment Spray for Dogs. Repeat as needed, but no more than once every 2 weeks. For dogs: Use a hand to cover your dog's eyes. Avoid direct application to the eyes, nose, mouth, and genitalia. Apply to the chest, ears, and head until dampened. Use fingertips to rub into the face and around the eyes, nose, and mouth. Spray from the neck to the tail and finish the legs last. For optimal skin penetration and if the dog has a heavy coat, spray directly against the natural direction of hair growth. Ruffle the hair with your hand, then spray behind your hand. Thoroughly coat ticks when possible. Toy and miniature breeds should be towel-dried after 30 minutes if not already dry. Repeat as needed, but no more than once weekly.
