What are the side effects of Mometavet Otic Suspension?
In a tiny percentage of sensitive canines, such as older dogs, component usage has been linked to deafness or partial hearing loss. Hearing loss is usually only temporary. If hearing loss or vestibular dysfunction occur during therapy, discontinue usage immediately and thoroughly cleanse the ear canal with a non-toxic solution.
What special precautions are there?
If the animal has a known perforated eardrum, do not use. Confirm that the eardrums are intact prior to treatment. Not for concomitant use with ototoxicity-causing medications. Withdraw treatment and administer countermeasures in case of hypersensitivity. Keep away from children and animals.
What to do if overdose?
If overdose occurs, please contact your local pet hospital or emergency pet clinic immediately.
How can I store Mometavet Otic Suspension?
Temperatures should be kept between 36 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit (2 and 25 degrees Celsius).
