What are the side effects of Component E-C with Tylan?
Potential adverse reactions associated with implantation include heavy hide weights, edder development, sunken loins, high tailheads, rectal prolapse, and vaginal prolapse. These issues are usually insignificant and rare in comparison to the benefit of implantation.
What special precautions are there?
Keep out of reach of children and animals. There is not an established withdrawal period for use in pre-ruminating calves. Not intended for use in animals intended for subsequent breeding or in dairy animals .Efficacy and safety for use in veal calves has not been proven.Carefully follow the product label directions.Only for use in animals. Not for human use.Do not use in bull calves intended for breeding, or in calves under an age of 45 days.Note: This drug is restricted in the state of California.

Overview
Administer 1 implant for every animal. To administer, implant the full contents of 1 cartridge cell (5 pellets) subcutaneously in the ear. Any other use violates federal law. Never try to salvage the implantation site for human food or animal feed. This product should be implanted with the Component EZ Implanter Gun Product #50885 (sold separately).
