To use as a surgical hand scrub: 1) Wet hands with water. 2) Distribute about 1 tsp (5 cc) of scrub over your hands and forearms. You may also opt to use a brush to apply. Be sure to focus extra attention on the fingernails. 3) Use a little bit of water to generate an abundance of suds. 4) Rinse well with running water. 5) Repeat steps 1 through 4 with another tsp (5 cc) of scrub). To use as an antiseptic hand wash: 1) Wet hands with water. 2) Distribute about 1 tsp (5 cc) of scrub onto your hands. 3) Rub your hands together vigorously for at least 15 seconds, ensuring that every hand surface is reached. 4) Rinse thoroughly. 5) Dry with a disposable towel. To use as a pre-op skin preparation: 1) Clip the surgical area. 2) Wet the area with water. 3) Apply 1 cc for a 20- to 30-square-inch region. 4) Develop a lather. 5) Scrub well for about 5 minutes. 6) You may opt to paint the area with the solution and let it air dry.
