Product Description
Derma GeL offers extensive skin care for your pet. To resist external pollutants, the isotonic hydrogel creates a moisturizing, protective barrier that functions in tandem with a moist environment.
Who is Derma-Gel for?
Dogs, cats and horses.
Why use Derma-Gel?
Product Benefits: Promotes healing Reduces inflammation and pain Without bandaging, provides thermal insulation and a microbiological barrier Free of steroidal and mutagenic agents Leaves the wound unharmed Allows for the growth of new cells, which reduces scarring and prevents hair discoloration Helps epithelial cells travel across wounds and grow rapidly, promoting healing. Maintains a moist environment to aid wound healing and prevent scab development Because of the faster healing time, fewer applications are required Helps prolong the "golden hour" of suturing past the normal 8 hours Does not cause excessive tissue granulation (proud flesh) No further dressings are required Protects wounds against insects Bacteriostatic and bactericidal characteristics control infections Provides exceptional wound care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
How does Derma-Gel work?
Derma GeL creates a moist environment that keeps epithelial cells viable at a rate of 97%. This allows healing cells to travel appropriately over the wound bed and proliferate. It improves wound healing by speeding up the wound contraction. Scabs are prevented by the moist environment, allowing the lesion to heal from the bottom and sides. Scabs occur on dry wounds. Epithelial cells must travel beneath the scab to locate moisture, which allows for optimal healing. When epithelial cells are forced to move further, they normally die, delaying wound healing.
