Why use Activyl Flea & Tick Protector Band for Dogs?
The Activyl Flea & Tick Protector Band for Dogs is a water-resistant, adjustable collar designed to fit any dog. It has a proprietary pesticide release mechanism that provides up to 6 months of tick and flea-killing activity.
How does Activyl Flea & Tick Protector Band for Dogs work?
This collar includes deltamethrin, an insecticide that is manufactured using a proprietary process for release. After 2 to 3 weeks, the maximum efficacy may be observed. Fleas in your dog's surroundings will be destroyed on contact, as will any fleas on your dog. It protects against Ixodes pacificus and Ixodes scapularis (Lyme disease-carrying deer ticks), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog ticks), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog ticks) for 6 months. Your dog should wear the collar all of the time, and you should replace it every six months.

Overview
1) Wipe the collar with a moist cloth before applying. Buckle the band around your dog's neck to secure. Make sure the collar is securely fastened. 2) Adjust and tighten the collar until two fingers can fit snugly beneath it. 3) Trim away any surplus material. Allow 2" beyond the buckle. 4) Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water. 5) Check the fit of the collar every 2 to 3 weeks to ensure it is neither too loose nor too tight. The Activyl Protector Band for Dogs is easy to put on and takes no time to dry. Apply at least 10 to 14 days before you expect your pet to be exposed to fleas or ticks for the best results.
